1. So Glad You Came Today
Welcome, we are so glad you came today. We know you all have different reasons why you’re here. For some of you, someone you respect invited you. Some of you are responding to the movement of the Spirit of God in your life and you want more, so you are here looking for the next step. Maybe some of you are here to honor your parents and that is amazing. Some of you are here searching and you don’t know where you stand. Whatever the reason, we want to know why you came today. Because we want to help you have victory and be “more than conquerers.” And we want to help you know about Him who gives you victory in the battle we’re all fighting.
We want to invite you into a journey of spiritual intimacy with God through abiding in Christ. We will walk you through Christian disciplines that will teach you how to abide and we will model it in our own lives. Know that you are here for a reason, for you have a Father in heaven who is pursuing you, chasing you down. He leaves the ninety nine to pursue the one, and that one is you. You are seen, valued and loved by your Father in Heaven, do you know this deep within your being? We hope that through this process you will.
Scripture Reference:
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.”
So he told them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Take a moment and think about the ways in this moment you can see your Father in heaven pursuing you and wooing you back to him. How He is leaving the ninety nine to pursue you? Read Luke 15:1-7 and make a journal entry describing Gods pursuit of you.
